We have paying customers, sales colleagues and presales technical specialists, and are building a dedicated marketing team. Our current focus is Chinese-speaking businesses, including Chinese companies expanding overseas.

The employing company is BYTEBAY GLOBAL LIMITED.

Your role

Own digital promotion and online lead generation. Personally drive advertising, SEO/SEM and website conversion improvements to bring businesses with relevant needs to Corebyte, and work with sales to turn inquiries into opportunities worth pursuing. This is a hands-on role covering campaign planning, execution and performance analysis across the Chinese-speaking customer market.

Your first 90 days

  • Agree priority products and target customers with business and technical colleagues.
  • Establish the foundations for tracking traffic, inquiries and sales opportunities.
  • Launch promotion tests across one or two priority channels.
  • Improve the core landing pages.
  • Develop an SEO plan and begin implementing it.
  • Use the initial data and sales feedback to recommend the next stage of investment and optimisation.

How we will assess results

We will assess the volume of inquiries from relevant business customers and their acquisition cost, the volume and conversion rate of sales-accepted opportunities, and how those opportunities progress. Organic search and paid channels will be tracked separately, with the sales cycle taken into account. Specific targets will be agreed together based on the current baseline, approved budget and available support.

Responsibilities

  • Paid advertising and SEM: Develop promotion plans and budget recommendations, select channels for the target customers, and personally manage search or other paid advertising. This includes keywords, audiences, advertising copy, bidding and performance optimisation. Use Google Ads or mainland Chinese platforms suited to the target audience, and adjust investment based on test results.
  • SEO and search-led content: Research search intent and keywords, and plan product pages, use cases, comparison articles and FAQs. Work with technical colleagues to improve site structure and technical SEO, increasing relevant organic traffic and inquiry conversion.
  • Landing pages and conversion: Present the customer value of cloud services, model APIs and GPU solutions clearly, with clear calls to action. Personally write and improve advertising and page content, and test messaging, forms and contact entry points. When design or website development support is needed, define clear requirements and coordinate delivery.
  • Tracking and opportunity handover: Build or improve GA4, GTM, advertising conversion tracking, and CRM or equivalent records to connect channels, inquiries and subsequent opportunities. Work with sales to define a suitable customer, agree handover and feedback processes, and improve lead quality.
  • Campaign management and analysis: Manage progress and approved budgets. Review each channel’s cost per inquiry, opportunity conversion and subsequent progress, and recommend whether to continue, adjust or stop an activity. Coordinate specialist external suppliers when needed and check the quality of their work.

Essential requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing for B2B or complex products or services. Use projects you personally delivered to explain the target customers, channels, investment, qualified inquiries and subsequent results.
  • Proficient use of AI is essential. Apply it to market and search research, advertising or content variations, data analysis, or process improvement, while verifying sources, product facts and output quality. The interview includes an AI case discussion and a practical exercise.
  • Clear Chinese business writing and communication, with the ability to read English product and industry materials.
  • Deep hands-on experience and verifiable results in at least one of paid acquisition or SEO, with the ability to plan and collaborate in advancing the other area. Independently drive projects and explain your own execution, optimisation and judgement.
  • Practical experience in website analytics and conversion tracking, interpreting channel data, identifying drop-off points and improving performance. Experience with GA4, GTM, advertising platforms or CRM is required.
  • Able to work full-time in Hong Kong and collaborate with sales and technical colleagues across locations.
